Well the great news is that the jaundice episode is nothing to be worried about! It's something to do with the baby's anti-bodies killing off the free radicals that they're exposed to on a daily basis, and this causes the jaundice. A load of bollocks according to the nurse that came to weigh them in the beginning, which is a great relief.
It would have been something to worry about if they were bottlefed babies who suddenly developed it - which could then show liver issues etc etc. So NO more heel-pricks, and the yellowing should disappear on it's own accord. Hip hip hooray! Although I must add they loved the "naked in Tahiti" suntanning on the bed ;)))))
The girls have started smiling (no not the 'wind' smile) for real....and even their little eyes light up and shine with love and affection - or that's what I like to think! They also pull their shoulders up when they smile....so it's all really cute! And the goo-ing and gurgling is something that just melts me at the knee-caps.I'll do my best to catch it on a video, but up to now have just got the smiling and gurgling. Will upload in the next day or two when I've remembered how - or might have to enlist the help of my geek husband...haa haa haaaa! Also to catch them doing it at the same time...!!!!
